Fees and Telehealth Eligibility
Straightforward information so you can make a clear decision.

Current rates
Please schedule a free consultation or reach out directly to discuss current rates and availability. Session fees reflect the specialized nature of executive counseling and Bob's clinical experience.
Most of Bob's clients pay privately. They're paying for access to a specific combination of clinical depth and real-world experience that they haven't found elsewhere. The investment is meaningful because it's structured to produce meaningful change, not to fill a slot in a panel.
What a consultation covers
- • Whether Bob's approach is the right fit for what you're navigating
- • How sessions work and what the experience is typically like for new clients
- • Confirmation of telehealth eligibility based on your state of residence
- • Current fees and scheduling availability
- • Any other questions you have before deciding whether to move forward
Telehealth eligibility
Telehealth counseling is available for clients located in states where Bob Manthy is legally authorized to practice. Your state of residence determines eligibility. This is confirmed during the free consultation, before any sessions begin.
If you're unsure whether you're eligible, the free consultation is the right first step. It takes about 20 minutes and answers that question directly.
Insurance and payment
Bob doesn't work with insurance panels. Most of his clients pay privately and prefer it that way. Insurance-based therapy comes with meaningful constraints on session frequency, treatment focus, and documentation. Paying privately means the work is shaped by what's actually useful for you, not by what an insurer will authorize.
Payment options
- • Private pay: Direct payment per session. Rates discussed during free consultation.
- • HSA/FSA: Sessions with a Licensed Professional Counselor typically qualify as an eligible expense under Health Savings Accounts and Flexible Spending Accounts. Confirm with your plan.
- • Out-of-network reimbursement: Some insurance plans offer out-of-network mental health benefits. A superbill can be provided for potential reimbursement. Confirm with your carrier.
